It’s a great place and the amazing community of great people led by experienced dancers. Teachers literally teach how to dance different(ly). Emphasis is placed on proper leading/following skills and understanding various aspects of dance and music. With a lack of leaders/followers, they are still trying to add helpers so that the course of the lesson is as beneficial as possible for everyone. Personal approach in lessons and willingness to help with problems allows you to improve as much as possible. Dance Different will help you build love for dance and you will become part of a great dancing community that you enjoy spending time with.

I’ve been attending Dance Different dance school for about two years now. I’m really satisfied with how Cuban salsa and bachata are taught here. The curriculum is well-structured, and combined with a friendly team of instructors, it makes a perfect mix. The events organized by the school are great as well—I especially love the summer dance socials at Harfa. The school recently moved to new premises, which are continually being improved. When I came to the Dance Different for the first time, I’ve never danced in my whole life. The original plan was to try out Bachata and kind of force myself to attend a few lessons to see if I will eventually start to like it. I was the most confused person in the introductory class for sure, but I achieved flow state quite easily and enjoyed the lesson much more than I would have thought possible. Next week I took an introduction to Salsa by random chance (that’s a story for another time :-D). Since then I’ve been dancing more and more. It’s been a real pleasure to be going to Dance Different all those months, learning from the teachers (I don’t even want to mention anyone in particular because all of them are just amazing), dancing and learning from the fellow students, and going to the parties together.
